Gumby is one of the most famous claymation cartoons. It was on tv from the 50’s to the late sixties. FRom their it entered syndication reruns. Eddie Murphy had a very popular skit on Saturday Night LIve that featured the gumby character.

To be honest I find the mask a little creepy looking, which can be used to your advantage I guess.
